This lovely couple, Rob from the UK and the beautiful Elena from Russia, had a very clear idea about what they wanted: a rural and classy wedding in Horta de Sant Joan, a very charming little village inland Catalonia. Rob's family has a vineyard there and was initially where they wanted to hold the wedding. It was a great idea but also a big challenge due to all the work needed to get the vineyard ready. So, after few considerations, they ended up hiring a beautiful hotel in the area.
The beautiful traditional Bangladeshi pre-wedding party of Tania & Rab's took place in a wonderful Masia located in La Costa Brava, one of our favourite spots in Catalonia. The main theme in this kind of party is "joy" displayed through "saris" and the colours: yellow, pink, red and orange. The main flower used is the marygold, found also in yellow or orange that can be used for many purposes such as for making garlands.
There were only 6 months left to Albert and Melia's wedding when they contacted us. Initially, they wanted to arrange everything by themselves as Albert is originally from Catalonia but eventually, they realized that they needed some help as planning a wedding is quite time-consuming and both of them were very busy at work.
Everything started during The Designer Wedding Show in London. We were exhibiting there when suddenly a beautiful lady called Steph, with stunning eyes and a perfect smile, popped into our stand. She was looking for the perfect venue to marry in and she didn't hesitate a minute when we discussed the possibility of Camp Nou (FCB stadium) as a venue. Gary, her husband-to-be and a big fan of soccer, was obviously really easy to convince. That's how they decided on their wedding venue: FC Barcelona Stadium was the one!
Love. Just love. That’s what Susanne & Garry meant to us. They wanted to get married in a small fishing town in Catalonia called Calella de Palafrugell that they knew well from their past travels there. Given the wonderful bond between them and the town, they decided to go for a Scottish-Catalan culture mix as their wedding theme. So, it was all about symbolism and every single detail was very meaningful to them.
All weddings are special because all weddings are different. It may sound cliché but it isn't. Each couple is different and their personality can be felt in each wedding we organize. Laura and Ian had a very clear idea about what they wanted: a different, laid-back and fun wedding close to the beach with personal touches all around.
